THISTLES WELCOMES NEW SOFT PLAY AREA
Thistles in Stirling has welcomed a brand-new soft play area following recent additions to the centre
Thistles shopping centre is continuing to expand its offerings to shoppers as it has installed a brand-new soft play area open in line with centre times. Located in the heart of Stirling, Thistles is bringing new additions and maintaining staples of the centre.
Taking over the former Debenhams Café site, the brand-new jungle themed soft play creates a space where parents can watch their children and unwind after a long day’s shopping spree while enjoying a coffee from eateries within the centre such as: Costa Coffee, Muffin Break and Ground Espresso Bar.
For all customer’s sports and e-sports needs, popular gaming and tech retailer GAME has moved from its previous location on Murray Place and has instead settled into its new home within Sports Direct in Thistles. ,
The centre has also confirmed the renewal of leases from the following tenants: Claire’s Accessories, Vision Express and O2 to remain in the centre with the O2 unit also undergoing a recent shop fit adding improvements to sustainability including the use of LED lighting alongside multiple decorative changes.
Gary Turnbull, Centre Director at Thistles, said: “We’re delighted to open our brand-new soft play area, and with it being the first time we’ve done something like this at Thistles we are excited to see our younger visitors enjoy the new leisure feature in the centre.”
Catering to the whole family, Thistles continues to offer fun for everyone, most recently with the success of its popular ‘Around the World nine-hole mini golf course’. Open throughout the month of July, it saw over 4,800 keen golfers play the course and raised over £1,300 for its charity partner for the event, Scottish Sports Futures which helps vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and families across the country.
Thistles also hosts free monthly Wolf Pack Kids’ Club sessions, with each month centring around a unique theme and welcomes all children from Forth Valley and further afield to come along and get crafty on the last Sunday of the month between 12 – 4pm outside HMV.
